World Peace Bell - Newport, Kentucky

Newport, Kentucky (just across the river from Cincinnati) is the home to a new World Peace Bell. This bell, 66,000 pounds in weight and 12 feet high by 12 feet wide, is the world’s largest free-swinging bell.

Cast in France, the bell made its voyage across the Atlantic to New Orleans then up the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers to Cincinnati. The bell was brought into Cincinnati via riverboat, and Amphi was there to escort her into town!
