| My Classic Car TV Show has an annual weekend-long Car Show as a feature on one of their episodes. This year, the host, Dennis Gage, asked if I could bring Amphi down to be one of the featured cars on the floor of the stadium. I of course headed right down! |

We arrived on Friday about noon with the other 11 featured cars. They were getting their cars all cleaned and ready, but not Amphi. As a kick-off to the weekend, a big Cruise In was planned for Friday evening along the river, and they wanted Amphi in the water! |

Elizabeth and I made a few trips into the Ohio River with Dennis Gage to the joy of several onlookers and cameras. I did get Dennis good and wet on one of the launches, but thats all part of a good Amphicar experience. That is the "handlebar mustaschioed host" of the show in the back seat. Saturday we were surprised to see a shot from the swim on the front page of the Evansville paper! |

After the Friday evening swim, we rushed Amphi back to the Stadium where he proudly took his place. All weekend long people enjoyed a 500+ car show, car auction and swap meet. They also filmed for a Spring 2000 episode of My Classic Car. |
